Healthy Drinks for the Winter!
I always have some favorite drinks I love to have in the winter time! I am loving this Juice Cart next door to my office. It got me inspired at home as well! Here are some recipes that you may even want to share at a party. They can stay good for you, or you can dress them up for cocktails.
Juices & Smoothies
The first drink was inspired by the cool cart next to me that has great juices and smoothies!
This is great using a Juicer or put every thing in whole in a Vita Mix or Blender to make a smoothie. Just add protein powder.
Pea or Sprouted Protein Powder
Blend in a juicer!
Soda & Bitters
5 drops of Bitters
Tonic or Soda Water
2 drops of Stevia
I love to make this if my Stomach is hurting or just to help digestion
Apple Cider Vinegar Drink
1TBL of Apple Cider Vinegar
1TBL of Honey
1C of Water to taste
This is great to help digestion as well!
Lemon Ginger Honey
One Lemon Squeezed
Grate 1/8C into 6 C of Water and Simmer on Stove
1TBL of Honey
Strain Ginger put aside to cook again. These are great to help boost the immune system. Put a dropper of Echinacea tincture in it to supper boost it!
1C of Almond or Coconut Milk
Warm the milk in the pan. At the end put turmeric in. I sometimes use cardamom, and sprinkle a little cinnamon on top. This is great for inflammation, and removing dampness from the body!
