Supporting pregnant mothers, there is always the desire to bring life into the world. The same is true with a dream or a heart’s desire that we want to see manifested. Manifesting through a creative process is a spiritual journey that teaches us lessons along the way. We cannot hold onto the process or the outcome. Holding onto the process too tightly gives one tunnel vision. Sometimes, the doors that open to manifesting a dream are closed off by a limited view of how it can manifest.
When you have a heart’s desire, it is the longing for the manifestation of that dream that brings it to the birthing process. However, there is a problem when we hold a dream so close that we smother it or when a sign comes our way, we can become resistant to the process. Watching the universe give you signs to see things unfold helps guide us to know what choices to make. As one gets older, we can see how things had patterns or paths and whether we followed the lessons. We can also see that different choices would have meant not meeting someone or taking different jobs. This was exactly what happened on my trip to see the turtles.
The miracle of birth, and to be a witness to it cannot be planned. It happens how it does when it does. There is the excitement of getting to witness a birth. The expectation that you will get to witness it. All though I have been a part of this many times I still didn't think that I would miss the turtles make their way to the ocean. As it got closer to the time to go down to the ocean, I realized that it was more than likely the dates that we were going to be at the beach would not be a time that the turtles would hatch.
My dream of watching turtles make their way to the ocean didn’t happen this time, but there were so many lessons along the way. I got to swim with the baby turtles and be a part of the fertility energy even though I did not see any baby turtles physically. Even though the plan of watching the turtle’s birth did not happen, it was the process of our partnership evolving that was beautiful. Hard, but beautiful nonetheless! Sometimes I believe it is the continual re-commitment that one has to make over and over that signals to the universe that this really is my HEARTS DESIRE. I didn't get to see the turtles hatch, but I did get to make a re-commitment to trying again next year. Hoping that this will be the time that they are birthing while I am down in Texas. So my question is what is your hearts desire, and how can you re-commit to it telling the universe that you are ready?
