Healing Stories From Clients

​My client "A" came in pregnant with her second child.   She had just moved to Portland.   She was super anxious from delivery of her first baby, and was suffering from really bad hip pain. During the first birth the baby had not descended, and the labor turned into a c-section.   While she was in the hospital, she got sick, and was unable to care for her baby.  Now she was super anxious that the same thing would happen again.  She wanted to have a different pregnancy, labor, and postpartum experience. 

As we worked together, I could tell that acupuncture and energy work would help her with trauma from the last birth. In talking to “A” about her experience she felt receiving acupuncture to help with the hip pain was super beneficial.  The energy work helped with body positivity to prepare for birth.  Clearing thoughts and believe patters that helped her get ready for birth.  The treatments worked and she delivered a natural birth at home.

I continued to support her postpartum, as I see that this work is so helpful. She felt like she was able to have a vaginal birth after cesarean because of all the support from healers surrounding her birth.  She felt like getting in home postpartum care, and not having to leave the house was an amazing benefit

As a healer it is so rewarding when a patient reflects on a part of their life that shifted inside so that they feel more impowered in their body.  Releasing trauma that would otherwise block the new journey in their life.  I love supporting these new babies that will be the change that we want to see in the world.  Doing energy work for me is the most powerful part of what I do.  It enlivens my acupuncture, and creates the space for patients to heal themselves.  Sometimes we need a space that is free from all the hard and intense parts of the world.   I feel blessed to have a space for people to come, and release those blocks that are no longer serving them.
