What an intense time in the North West!  During this time of Intense Fire, I love that I have been seeing so many ideas of Rain dances!  Instead of prayers of distress, embodying the energy of water and rain feels so positive to me at this time in my life.  So cleansing, and a way to spread a positive intention.    I do have to say I am for the first time in my Oregonian life really ready for the rain! So, if this feels good for you please join in these rain dances.  Embody the feeling of it raining.  Hold this energy for as long as you can.  Let's keep doing this until the rain comes!!!

On the other hand, I totally appreciate my fire gods and goddesses who use this energy to purify, and cleanse there being.  If diving into the grief and purification of letting go feels good to you this is also a time to release and purify.  Using the elements to cleanse is always a positive way to release.  I do believe that these fires can be in balance, and there is so much collective grief around ignorance, and disrespect of our sacred earth.  Grieving for all of those that are ignorant of there negative actions taken towards the earth, but then after your grief shift your prayers toward others coming into awareness to there connection and impact on the earth.  Then maybe join us in the Rain dance to cleanse your grief!

DIY Air Filter

With all the smoke we are experiencing all over Oregon you may want to try this! If your lungs need a break everyone knows my air filter hack if they have been to the office lately.  Get a box fan, and put a strong black 3M filter on it.  I have some people just turn it on and make sure the filter is going the right direction to flow then they put on a little tape.  This is cheaper than the $300 air filter version, and can really help you out!
